Roast Beef Guy

I cannot believe such talent has come together so harmoneously. To think, the odds of the worst people ever in each of your fields, meeting and actually making a film are astounding. This is a work of pure shit. Not even high-grade shit. This is the shit the comes out of a gay man's ass promptly after being analy fucked by his boyfriend Bruce. I cannot believe you people think that this will be a movie people will like. I also cannot believe you think Sundance will accept this worthless fuckup of a movie. I tell you, I'd rather watch Gummo in french then ever EVER see this movie. You fucking retards.

harmoneously = harmoniously

Wow, this is so cool. We have our first piece of hate mail. I was beginning to worry, but now I realize we're doing something right. You can't please all the people all the time, and if it seems like you are, then people probably don't care, but if you can piss someone off, then you know people care.

It's good to know we're pure shit. Maybe not high grade shit, but 100% pure shit is good.

You seem to know the intimate details of being anally fucked by Bruce. Is this your way of coming out. If it is, Welcome!

The most amusing thing about this post is no one has seen Kisses And Caroms. Well, OK, a few people have, but only people we know and no one has copies except for us Producer types. So, one must wonder what Mr Roast Beef Guy based his opinions on? Thin Air?

My only regret is that Mr Roast Beef Guy is too cowardly to use a real email address. Everyone is just going to think I posted this as a rouse. :-(

Well, he pretty much states that he hasn't actually seen the movie. But more importantly, he maligns Gummo. Gummo is sooo under-rated; especially his French films.

Hi Guys -
I've been lurking around your site on occasion ever since I found the link on the PGL board 4 months ago. I decided to post after I saw the flaming rant posted by RoastBeefGuy.

I am an indepenent filmmaker in Florida and wanted you guys to know that I have really enjoyed reading the journals and posts. Many times they have given me the fire I needed to get going on one project or forget the failure of another.

I don't know if K&C is a good movie or not, but I do know that you guys have the passion needed to make a go of it. I wish you all the best of luck.

How about Gummo doing the father in Le fabuleux destin d'Amelie Poulain? Or maybe the neighbor that doesnt have a clock.

Dead Ringer - Thank you for that. I am glad that we are able to help motivate you. And the fact that I now know someone actually reads the journals.

Nikki - Miss you. I am longing for some more 'you know who' stories.
Holy Crap you are going to be 30! Yet still a hip hoppin babe.

Ryan - What about Keanu Reeves in Bram Stoker's Dracula?

Or Eye of the Beholder?

If Bram stoker could have lived to see that it would have been called, "allan smithee's Dracula."

Hey Roast beef curtains, if you're gonna jump in and start flaming, don't stop. We need the excitement.

Nice. You got a baseless bashing from someone who calls himself "Roast Beef Guy"? This guy oozes credibility. His demeanor, vernacular, and name, alone, demand respect.

It's probably just some chump who tried to make a movie and failed miserably, leaving only a bitter, small, hollow shell of a man.

No respect, but I'll offer my apathy.
