Hey Vince. You took it like a man. Proud of you. That's true spirit. On to the next. I believe. And I think you did post that Roast Beef bullshit.

Sorry, I didn't get it in for you guys. It would have been great to have called you all with the news. That was the most depressing part. Letting you guys down.

Deadline for Slamdance is Dec 9th. So maybe I'll have good news then.

Had nuting to do with the Beef, although it did breathe life here. I'd fess up now just for the "Hee Hee" factor, but alas Herasio, twas not I.

Michael is the one who told me about it, but I checked Beefs ip against Michaels and no matchie.

I'm off to submit to the Florida Film Fest. Fuck Park City, the weather is nicer in Florida, Unless we get into Slam then Fuck Florida, I LOVE PARK CITY!

See, I look at it this way:

The Movie is Way too Good for SunDance.

99.9% of all the movies that have come out of SunDance Suck Ass!!

Kisses and Caroms deserves to be screened at Cannes in my opinion. :)

That is if my opinion means anything...LOL

You're too sweet.

Ya Know there is some truth to that though.

Aside from the flicks pushed by Hollywood, and those sometimes blow, Sundance flicks are catered to Angry Overweight African American Lesbians. At least that's what has been said in less PC terms by most of the indie community. They say that's who judges them.

Frankly, I hear more and more, that you have to have a team, a huge name, or a studio behind you to get in to Sundance. Mostly I thought that was/is bitter film makers finding excuses, and maybe I've become one. Still, to new film makers, you gotta take the $50.00 gamble, cause who knows when Sundance will finally decide to become a real festival again and not a Hollywood pimp zone. When that happens a real indie film just might be the one they choose to make as an example.

So, have you submitted to any other festivals?

Surely you have a "safety festival". Like the 'Downey Film Festival and Poultry Contest' or the 'West Covina Film Festival'...

Just thought this board needed a post.
