UGH, I've been so busy I haven't had time to write Journals. It's insane. Seems like I'm always doing something, but getting nothing done.

K&C was submitted to Sundance, Slamdance, SXSW, Santa Barbara, and Florida. Sundance and Slamdance were the only ones nice enough to send us "Get Fucked" letters. The other three don't feel my $50.00 admission fee is worth a .37 cent stamp and a .05 cent copy of a form rejection letter.

With this in mind, I've decided to NOT submit until the flick was washed, shaved, dried, and primped up like a good little whore.

So when will this whore be ready? We've set a deadline of March 15th. Michael is determined to have a screening then so the acquisitions peeps can buy it and sell it at the next market. So if anyone wants to bitch about when they are going to see it, ask Michael. It's in his hands now.

What has been going on?

I've been working with Tom in Florida who is working on a new Trailer. I've also been working with Tim in North Carolina who is scoring. I've also been working to line up some music from bands like http://www.desolatechaos.com/ and http://www.ruekills.com/ and a few others. This also means I've been having to hammer out contracts. Oh what fun.

After rotoscopeing K&C I started the repair of the naked white guy scene. The scene was accidentally shot in 24p instead of 24pa. I had to hand convert it to 24 fps. What this means in a nut shell is every 2 out of five frames needed to be converted into 1 frame. I would open frame 1, copy the odd lines from it, then paste them into frame 2. Next, I'd open frame 6 and merge it with 7. 11 to 12, 16 to 17 and so on.

The various clips add up to 1 minute 46 seconds and 21 frames, or a total of 3197 frames and 1282 frames needed to be opened and merged in to 641 frames. I did these all by hand.

I also went out and shot some footage for possible use in the trailer. If it gets used, you'll know why I shot additional. If it doesn't, then I wasted my time.

Now, I am working on exporting all the picture elements to one file to eliminate clutter in my editor and then I will begin sound clean up. Oh speaking of sound, I rerecorded a couple elements.

In addition to that, I am in the middle of redesigning and remodeling Breaktime. I'll be painting on this Sunday, Monday, And Tuesday if anyone wants to help.

I'm also putting the finishing touches on a deal with Ginger Lynn to host a new line of videos for Weiser and Company. This requires, writing, editing, set building, and contracts.

Shit, I forgot, I'm also fixing Breaktimes site and jotting down ideas for Weiser and Company, plus working on the main Production company site.
