Hey Vince

How did you decide which camera to go with?

Hey I just posted on GreenLight for you. Whats the deal with your storyboards? It seems you have a good ensemble cast and I'm guessing a decent crew, but your storyboards are lousy. Could'nt you get a better artist to do them? I am a Storyboard artist by the way.....

wolf - Thanks for both posts. We're still casting and crewing. The boards are explained in detail in a few journal entries. But here's what I wrote at PGL:

Since we are on a zeroBudget, we got the best artist money can buy..... Me! Basically, I worked for food.

It was my first time. I had no idea how to do it and I learned a lot. I wrote a couple journals on it. So it made for good material.

I know how it will look, the SB's are to give my crew an idea and to refresh my memory. But I agree. I don't think this will be a cinematic epic, with tracks, dollys and jibs galore. I'll probably mostly lock the camera down and shoot.

Wolf - Just wondering, were you by chance offering your SB services for free?

PoorWT - I was going to use a PAL XL1s untill I read an artical on the DVX100.

With the XL1s you shoot at 25fps, then you need to slow the footage down to transfer to 35. The DVX100 allows you to shoot at 24fps for a seemless transfer to 35. It also give a little, not alot but a little more of that film flicker when moved back to video.

I'm going to meet with Panasonic tomorow and further discuss the DVX100. I'll let you know what happens

Hi Vince!

I missed the audition date for the role of Jennifer. If this role has been cast, and you need casting of additional characters, please let me know! I would love to be part of this project!

Franz - There is a full blown casting report in the journal. It went OK. We're bringing our top contenders in for a get together, to see how everyone meshes on Tuesday.

Latina Actress - If you haven't already, send in your head shot. The roles of Mrs. Whiteman, and Mrs. Johnson are still available.
